Beginner yoga videos online: this is the library of recorded Flametree beginner classes. Our Iyengar teachers filmed them at the Darwin studio, and the teacher talks you through each pose. You can practise at home, any time of day, with a few simple props.
Want to try before you buy a playback pass? Watch our free yoga videos, or start with the beginner video course (5 classes of 30 minutes). If you would like a teacher in the room, see the beginner yoga deal for Darwin and online.
All your beginner level Flametree videos are available here. Remember to buy a beginner playback pass and/or login to your account first before you can view the videos.
They are all part of our playback video library. In each category, there is a sufficient collection of videos to keep you doing yoga for many weeks or months, and very often it makes good sense to do the classes more than once. The videos are also periodically updated, or additional videos are added.
Scroll down to see the videos.
The drop-down tab shows beginner video types
As you can see via the tabs below, you can first select the first several weeks of your beginner yoga journey by the appropriate tab. These tabs include some of the Special Focus classes such as Backcare, Women Only, Easy Restorative, and Introduction to Breath Meditation.
Backcare, Easy Restorative and Introduction to Breath Meditation classes can be done at any time in your beginner yoga progress. They can also be done as a stream by themselves, or in conjunction with other classes from other weeks.
In particular, Backcare classes are yoga postures classes that will be useful to anyone, although they have been done to make sure that are helpful and safe for persons with back issues.
Depending on your level of yoga skills, the teacher will demonstrate the pose, and then talk you through doing it yourself.
If you find don’t get around to exercising or de-stressing enough, we suggest you try the fun and momentum of live online or in-studio classes with us, if your time zone works with our live beginner class timetable.
Before you start a class, it helps to get a few basic yoga props, like a mat or rug, plus some household items like a chair, blocks or bricks, and a belt or short piece of rope. There is more about yoga props here.
As we said, before you can access the yoga class playback videos, you may need to buy the appropriate playback or combination package of yoga passes.
Different packages for yoga videos for beginners
You can see the various playback price packages here.
You can also see a price list of all packages on this page (playback, online and in-studio), plus links to pages with additional details, here.
This short video has an easy summary of the benefits of yoga.
There’s also more information about all the beginner packages (online, playback or in-studio), here.
Beginner yoga video questions
Where do I watch the beginner yoga videos after I buy a pass?
Log in to your Flametree account and come back to this page. The videos sit in a grid below the text, and a drop-down menu lets you pick the type of class. If you are not logged in, the page asks you to buy a beginner playback pass or log in first.
What types of beginner videos are there?
You can follow the first several weeks of a beginner journey, or choose a special focus class: Backcare, Women Only, Easy Restorative or Introduction to Breath Meditation. Backcare, Easy Restorative and Breath Meditation can be done at any stage.
How long will the beginner videos keep me going?
Each category holds enough classes for many weeks or months. It often makes sense to repeat a class, and new videos are added from time to time.
Can I also try a live beginner class in Darwin?
Yes. Live beginner classes run in the studio in Darwin and online. See the live beginner class timetable for the times, or the beginner yoga deal to start.
