The New Year’s retreat is open to those with backgrounds in any style of the practice of yoga and meditation, such as vinyasa yoga, vinyasa flow, yin yoga, hatha yoga, yoga nidra, walking meditation, other meditation practices, or whatever.

Flametree is an Iyengar Yoga studio, and teaches flexibly in that style. But the certified Senior Teacher can adapt to accommodate those from any yoga style.

Plus, even if you’re at a beginner level, you’re welcome to attend. It’s a good way, and a doable way, to accelerate your yoga journey.

By the way, Christine, the teacher, also specialises in teaching Women’s Wellness classes.

So, in an appropriate way, you’ll also get appropriate elements of a women’s retreat. (Plus, if you wish, ask her for some private coaching or just chats about such matters, as part of the retreat).

Small groups, guest rooms, & other details

We take a maximum of 18 at each retreat.

In each meditation and yoga class, there plenty of room around you.

All rooms have their own bathroom, and all the normal features of modern accommodations.

Depending on the package you choose, there are single beds or queen bed options.

​But, if needed, bring your own hair dryer (at least for the budget end deals).

There is also fast WIFI access, and plenty of charging stations in your room and around the resorts.

There are excellent swimming pools at 2 of the 3 resorts. Plus, the main resort has easy access to a magnificent, huge, saltwater pool (aka swimming in the ocean!).

The beach is just a one minute walk from many of the rooms.

You’re surrounded by the beach on one side, and beautiful nature on the rest.
