Women aged 22–55 participated in a 12-week yoga program using FSFI (Female Sexual Function Index) before and after. Yoga led to significant improvements across all areas: desire, arousal, lubrication, orgasm, satisfaction, and pain, with the strongest effects in women over 45.

2024 Meta-Analysis: “Does yoga improve sexual function? A systematic review and meta-analysis”
A comprehensive systematic review and meta-analysis analyzed 10 randomized clinical trials involving 730 adults. The study found yoga was associated with a small but statistically significant improvement in sexual function compared to control groups. Women, healthy individuals, and middle-aged adults showed the most significant improvements.

A randomized clinical trial examined 46 reproductive-age women, comparing pelvic floor muscle exercises alone versus combined with yoga training. Results showed adding yoga to pelvic floor exercises significantly improved sexual function scores immediately post-intervention (31.43±3.76 vs 29.41±2.38, P<0.001).

2025 Exercise Study: “Exercise and Psychosexual Education to Improve Sexual Function in Men With Prostate Cancer”
A randomized clinical trial involving 112 prostate cancer patients found that supervised exercise programs improved erectile function compared to usual care, with a mean improvement of 5.1 points on erectile function measures.
