Retreat refund summary

In summary, no matter what retreat payment you’ve made, you can get a full refund up to 8 weeks before retreat commencement, then 50% in the period 4-8 weeks before commencement, and a possible refund or credit in the period of 0-4 weeks before retreat commencement.

We’ll always do our best to work with you around unforeseen circumstances. The most important thing is to contact us as soon as anything situation develops that may prevent your attendance.

Being in touch early gives us the best chance of finding ways to meet your concerns, and also cover our fixed liabilities.

So, when you purchase any retreat of any type from Flametree Yoga studio, you thereby agree to these yoga retreat terms and conditions.

Yoga retreat terms and conditions at Flametree

1. These yoga retreat terms and conditions apply for any form or type of a Flametree retreat, such as a yoga retreat, meditation retreat, mindfulness retreat, wellness retreat, health retreat, pranayama retreat, or any other type of retreat.
2. The purchase of this retreat is on the condition that you complete and return the information form that can be downloaded.
3. When you purchase this retreat, by any means, you thereby agree to these terms and conditions yoga retreat arrangements.
4. By purchasing our Flametree Yoga Studio (“Flametree”) retreat, you agree that you have read the conditions below, and you agree to them.
5. Airfares are the responsibility, or you, as an individual.
6. You will also supply Flametree with your flight details (as above).
7. Your payment includes 6 nights’ accommodation, yoga and meditation classes, 3 presentations, 3 meals a day, and such other items Flametree has specifically said are included (such as a cooking class, first massage, and half day tour).
8. Transfer to and from airport is an extra, if you require it and pay for it. (Otherwise, please arrange privately as you see fit). A taxi will cost AUD$10-45 each, via sharing with up to 4 in a car, via the driver we will put you in contact with. (Or, see more details on the Retreat Information page).
9. Unless you have paid a single rate, you agree you will share a room (but you can specify who you wish to share with, as outlined above).
10. Travel insurance is mandatory, and you will supply details of such to Flametree prior to the retreat.
11. Bolsters, yoga chairs, yoga belts, mats, and 1-2 yoga blankets are supplied at the retreat, as well as some other yoga props like weights, swings, and more. But, it’s recommended that you also bring your own foam block/s, thick towel/s, and blanket/s. You may also wish to bring your own mat to place on top of the mats supplied (for extra cushioning).
12. You agree to the cancellation policy below.
13. You have arranged for and gotten any inoculations your own GP recommends, and that you wish to use.
14. Flametree is not liable for any injury, loss or damage to property, cancellation costs, or disruption to programs that are beyond its reasonable control.
15. You will make your own arrangements for looking after valuables. (But, please note, the retreat venues themselves are safe and secluded, with a range of staff who watch over activities in the resort grounds).

Refunds in terms and conditions yoga retreat arrangements

1. If you cancel, it must be in writing, and delivered by email to [email protected].
2. Cancelling between 4-8 weeks before the first day of the retreat leads to 50% loss of payments made for the retreat, (& a 50% refund).
3. Cancelling 4 weeks or less before the first day of the retreat, or failure to turn up. or leaving the retreat, leads to 100% loss of total cost you paid.
4. If a suitable replacement can be found, who Flametree agrees to, the amount paid, which Flametree is otherwise not obligated to refund, will be credited towards another Flametree retreat in the following 24 months. (In Flametree’s discretion, it may also be refunded).
5. Also, any extra cost because of circumstances such as the above will be your responsibility (i.e., the yoga student).
