Iyengar videos online: a year of real classes that fit around your life
Flametree’s Iyengar videos online give you a full year of real classes, recorded at our Darwin studio, ready whenever you are.
You don’t have to fit your life around a timetable. You press play when you have the time.

Miriam, a retired principal, does most of her classes at home. “I’ve connected by PC to my big TV, as you can see in the picture.”
Does this sound like you?
Maybe the class you want is on at 5.30pm, and that’s when you’re still driving home.
Maybe the nearest good Iyengar teacher is hundreds of kilometres away.
Maybe you work shifts, or the evenings belong to the kids’ bedtime.
Or you roll out your mat at home, do two poses, and then stand there wondering what comes next.
You haven’t stopped wanting to practise. You’ve just run out of times that work.
A library fixes the timing. Good teaching does the rest.
Every class in the library is a full class, from start to finish. The teacher talks you through each pose, shows you how, and tells you what to do with your feet, your knees and your breath.
So you are never left guessing. You just follow along, at the hour that suits you.

What a year of Iyengar yoga online gives you
Classes that fit your day, not the other way round. Early morning, lunch break, late at night, or a different time zone altogether.
A class for how you feel today. A strong standing class one day, a quiet restorative class the next.
Real teaching, not a workout video. These are full Iyengar classes, with clear instructions and time to relax at the end.
What students say about the yoga videos
“This practice helps me so much at the end of a stressful day and being able to access the class at home means I can simply relax before bed time.” J., on a recorded evening class
“Thanks Chris I am very much enjoying the new added playback classes. The sequences have been very inspirational , which help to develop a my home practices.” M., on the recorded classes
“Thank you for these OnDemand videos, FlameTree Team. To have reconnected with the light of yoga after a few years away, and to come back to such trusted and respected instructors, means the world to me. -KB”

What’s included in your year
- 325 recorded classes – enough that you could do a different class almost every day.
- Full-length classes, most an hour and a quarter to an hour and a half – the same as a studio class.
- Levels from Transition to Intermediate up to Experienced – so the library grows with you.
- The beginner classes too – handy for going back over the basics.
- Restorative yoga (supported, resting poses) – for the days you need to slow right down.
- Yoga for back, neck and shoulders – careful classes for a stiff or sore back.
- Fifty Plus and Gentle Yoga – steady classes that respect the body you have now.
- Pranayama (breathing practice) classes – a quiet breath meditation at either end of the day.
- Classes by certified Iyengar teachers, many by Chris Lalor – so the instructions are clear and careful.
- Watch on any screen – phone, tablet, computer, or a computer connected to your TV.
- 12 months of access for one person – with no lock-in, and you can cancel any time.

Why Iyengar yoga works well on video
Iyengar yoga is taught with very precise instructions. Where to put your feet. Which way to turn your thigh. When to breathe out.
That precision is exactly what you need when the teacher isn’t in the room. You can hear what to do, step by step, rather than trying to copy shapes on a screen.
Props help too. Our classes often use a wall, a chair, a belt or a folded blanket, so a pose can be done well by the body you have today. You can improvise most of them from things around your home.
What changes when you have a year of classes on hand
You stop waiting for the right week to start.
A missed class doesn’t mean a missed week. You simply do one later.
And your home practice gets a shape. Instead of wondering what comes next, you press play and follow a well-made sequence.

Questions people ask about the Iyengar video library
What do I get with the annual Iyengar video pass?
You get 12 months of unlimited access to Flametree’s library of 325 recorded Iyengar yoga and pranayama classes, for one person. It covers active classes from Transition to Intermediate up to Experienced, plus restorative, back care, Fifty Plus, gentle and breath meditation classes, and the beginner classes too.
How much does it cost, and what happens after the first year?
Until 11.59pm on Monday 30 November 2026 (Darwin time), your first year costs AUD$388.50 when you use the code 50%OffYearlyPrice at checkout, half the normal $777. After 12 months, the pass renews once a year at $777, from the same card. You can cancel any time before it renews.
Are these classes live or recorded?
They are recorded classes, so you can do them whenever you like, as often as you like. If you would rather join a class as it happens, Flametree also runs live online yoga classes on Zoom, where the teacher can see you and help you.
Is the video library suitable for beginners?
It is made for people who have already done some yoga, though it does include the beginner classes. If you are brand new, start with Flametree’s beginner pass first, because a teacher who can see you will set you up safely, and then come back to the videos.
What do I need to watch the videos?
You need an internet connection and a phone, tablet or computer, and many students connect their computer to a TV. For props, a mat, a folded blanket, a belt and a sturdy chair cover most classes, and household items work well instead.
How do I get to my videos after I buy?
Your videos are ready the moment you pay, and the steps are on your order confirmation page and in your confirmation email. In short, log in at flametreeyogastudio.com.au/my-account/ with your email and the password you chose at checkout, then go to flametreeyogastudio.com.au/yoga-practice/, which holds the whole library. Bookmark it so it is one click away next time.
Can I pause or cancel the pass?
Yes, you can pause or cancel any time, and there is no lock-in contract. Payments already made are not refunded for part years, so if you are going away, a video class you can do anywhere is often a better choice than pausing.
Can I do Darwin Iyengar yoga classes in person or live online as well?
Yes, Flametree teaches Darwin Iyengar yoga classes at its studios in Woolner and Coolalinga, and runs live online classes too. The video library works well alongside either, for the days you can’t make it to class.
